CONDITIONS WE CAN HELP SUPPORT
I saw Dr. Medina for my vertigo, and he was able to resolve the issue on the first visit. Turns out I had crystals in my ear that dislodged and entered into an area of my ear which causes dizziness, nausea, and caused me to be out of commission for many days.
Dr. Medina used the Epley maneuver to relocate the ear crystal(s), and within a day I was back on my feet.
His integrative approach to health, nutrition, neurology, and chiropractic makes this doctor really stand out. He is all about results, and he definitely delivers them.
My insurance through my employer gives me 40 visits per year for Chiro (Blue Shield), and I will continue to see Dr. Medina for many health needs.
Dr. Medina has been a tremendous help with lower back, neck and wrist pain sustained from a car accident in April of 2018. He was very easy to work with and helped fixed all of my symptoms within weeks of the accident.
What sets Dr. Medina apart is his ability and passion to look at all areas of health and wellness to help solve bodily issues to get someone like myself back into their daily activity. Hands down he performed the best chiropractic work on me I have ever received and I recommend him to anyone looking to improve their overall health and wellness.
I am blown away by Dr. Ernesto's depth of knowledge on integrative and functional medicine. He has the education and expertise to help many difficult and complex issues such as concussion syndrome, Alzheimer's, menier's and more. He is also a really nice person. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Medina has a completely different approach to chiropractics than I've ever experienced. Whereas at other offices I've often felt that the doc spent a minimal amount of time with me--Dr. Medina takes a wholistic approach to health. He always tells me about the latest literature and different ways to improve my health.
I am a dentist so my work takes a major toll on my body. Dr. Medina showed me different exercises and massages that I could incorporate into my day to make me feel better.
I would strongly recommend Ernesto Medina to anyone looking to make a plan to seriously improve their overall health.
If something is hurting Dr Medina will fix you up!! He Definitely knows what he is doing. I came in to his office with neck pain cause my whole left arm to go numb. Not like other chiropractors, Dr Medina took time to explain everything in details before treatment. I was stunned after only one treatment I had more movement in my neck. I already have my next session booked.
I have been receiving therapy from Dr. Medina for about a year now, and wow! it has made a huge difference in my life. I love staying active, but with this comes getting injured. I had pain on my IT band that carried pain to the side of my knee, then I had low back pain, and recently I injured my shoulder and upper back. Dr. Medina at Vitality has been just exceptional at alleviating my pain. He's not the older doctor you might expect, but he sure has all of the knowledge and expertise you want from a chiropractor. And I will say, I have tried different chiropractors before. He's very comfortable to be around too. Friendly doctor who is happy to explain everything he's doing on you and how to also continue improving as well as to how to avoid getting hurt again by teaching you proper body mechanics. I cannot recommend Dr. Medina enough, it really is a blessing to find a doctor whom you can really trust. I tell all of my friends to come to his clinic in Fremont any time they get injured. Oh! but not only when injured, but also even if you feel some pain around your body. One of my pains came from carrying a purse with too much weight; it completely misaligned my body which began giving me pain..so one can get hurt in even the most insignificant ways. .anyway, I can talk about all the discomfort and pain Dr. Medina has alleviated for me for hours! All I'm going to say is Thank you Dr. Medina!
I saw Dr.Medina for a complimentary 30-minute consult ; I came in with a binder of tests and a myriad of questions. Dr.Medina thoughtfully and patiently addressed all of my issues. I more than highly recommend Dr.Medina based on his attention and professionalism in this short time frame.
About one and a half years ago, I went to see Dr Medina about relieving back pain in my upper rear shoulder (scapula). He performed active release on the area and did some adjustments to fix a rib that was slightly out of place. Voila, within three appts the problem was gone. I haven't had a recurrence, since. This was after suffering from that problem for about seven years. It was to a point that I couldn't lean on that shoulder, sleep on it, or sit for short periods of time.
More recently, I underwent surgery for my ankle. After months of PT, I was still not able to function on my ankle. My knee started locking up, so I went to have Dr Medina do active release on it and an adjustment. Immediately, I was able to do deep knee bends on it. Within a few appts, it was no longer locking up. At the same time, he took a look at my ankle. Up to that point, I was completely unable to run or load that ankle. After a few (five) appts with adjustments, sensory stimulation, and strengthening exercises, I'm actually running and doing moderately heavy squats. I ran for ten minutes last night. Before, I couldn't run ten seconds. Feel like giving up? Don't. Just call Ernesto.

I went to Dr. Medina after having exhausted all conventional medicine. I was seeing a general practitioner and then an endocrinologist. Moral of the story is that I was still feeling as terrible as when I was diagnosed in May 2018. I went to Dr. Medina with a desperate cry for help in July 2019. I cannot express how much this man has changed my life and the way I view autoimmune diseases now. I went in with a flurry of symptoms and 2 months later, after having undergone his treatment plan, I regained control of my life and the autoimmune disease I'm living with. It was definitely a tough journey but well worth it! Dr. Medina is so knowledgeable in what he does. Time and time again I tell people that he is by far the best, most knowledgeable Doctor I have ever encountered. My advice if you are looking for a new doctor that can actually help you HEAL is; pay attention to what Dr. Medina has to say, follow his treatment plan and recognize that it takes two to tango- meaning that you too will have to put in a good amount of work and will to heal. To me, undergoing all of this has been a 'miracles do happen' moment. Much appreciation for Dr. Medina!
Ps. He's an amazing chiropractic adjustor!
